Customer Marketing Intern

The Customer Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing key initiatives across customer engagement, competitive analysis, and retail activation. This role offers hands-on experience in market research, event support, and cross-functional collaboration, providing valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced marketing environment. This role will be on-site at our Neptune City, NJ facility.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Conduct competitive set and brand reviews to identify market trends and opportunities. Analyze competitor performance, including visuals, pricing, and ratings & reviews. Collect and organize store set, display, and merchandising images for internal use. Assist with item setup processes for customer presentations. Coordinate and manage sample orders for customer reviews. Support meeting preparation, including materials, presentations, and logistics. Provide support for industry events such as SuperZoo, including packaging and inventory management. Assist with brand room organization and renovation projects, including packing and inventory management. Track and manage sample orders to ensure timely delivery and accuracy. Provide ad hoc support to Marketing Specialists on various projects and initiatives. Other duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Interest in consumer goods, retail, or pet industry is a plus.
