About Waterfront Hospitality:
Waterfront Hospitality offers exceptional experiences in Lake George, NY, specializing in event planning, private events, and dining at our signature location, the Lighthouse Grill. We're dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences and are looking for a motivated Sales & Marketing Associate to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Sales & Marketing Associate will support sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and assist in implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and guest engagement. This role involves working closely with the Sales Director to secure tour group cruises, school groups and private charters, while also assisting with marketing initiatives that promote Waterfront Hospitality's offerings. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to develop skills in both sales and marketing within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Client Relations:
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive bookings for group events, private charters, and dining experiences.
  • Respond to client inquiries, provide detailed information about offerings, and help secure event and charter bookings.
  • Help prepare contracts, BEOs, and proposals for clients, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Support the coordination of private events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain client relationships, follow up on inquiries, and foster repeat business.
  • Represent Waterfront Hospitality at networking events, trade shows, and community events.
Marketing & Promotion:
  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote bookings and brand awareness.
  • Manage social media accounts by creating content, engaging with followers, and promoting events and services.
  • Help develop email marketing campaigns, website updates, and promotional materials.
  • Track marketing campaign performance and assist in refining strategies to optimize engagement.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with local businesses, tourism boards, and influencers.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience or education in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, and event coordination within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and social media platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing, content creation, and branding strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with a team.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Base salary:
$40,000
