Job Description

Our financial services client is looking for a Performance Marketing Associate to work a 3+ month assignment (40 hrs/week). Candidates must be able to work onsite in NYC 5 days/week. OverviewThis team drives awareness, engagement, and growth by connecting customers to travel products, benefits, and inspiration through a coordinated omni-channel strategy. The team partners cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Creative, Finance, and Data & Analytics to deliver measurable outcomes-including new customers, transaction volume, and share of wallet-supported by strong governance, compliance, and operational rigor.

Role SummaryAs a Senior Associate, Performance Marketing, you will translate business priorities into performance marketing roadmaps and campaigns, optimizing results through data-driven audience strategies, promotions, placements, and experimentation. You will own key workstreams end-to-end-from planning and approvals through measurement and executive reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesPromotions Strategy:
Build and manage the annual promotions roadmap, including business case development, forecasting, and leadership approvals through established governance processes.
Performance Management & Reporting:
Manage marketing reporting inputs and leadership updates (campaign recaps, OKR tracking); partner with Finance and Data & Analytics to enhance data storytelling and measurement, including incrementality analysis.
Experimentation:
Define and socialize a test-and-learn roadmap; coordinate execution across Data Science, Analytics, Audience, Product, and channel stakeholders; deliver insights and apply learnings to improve performance.
Audience Insights:
Lead ad hoc analytics workstreams, translating strategic questions into actionable, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
Owned Channel Activation:
Develop marketing plans across owned channels (e.g., email, web placements), incorporating segmentation, testing, and ongoing optimization.
Cross-Functional Initiatives:
Support high-priority strategic programs and partnerships across the broader business.
Creative & Brand Governance:
Drive alignment on creative and messaging through structured review forums, ensuring adherence to timelines, compliance standards, and quality at launch.

Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, growth marketing, or marketing analyticsProven experience building roadmaps and executing omni-channel marketing initiatives with measurable business outcomesStrong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into clear actions and executive-level materialsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and navigate governance and approval processesPreferred QualificationsExperience with promotions and offer strategy, experimentation and incrementality testing, and audience segmentationFamiliarity with performance reporting and dashboarding toolsExperience in travel, marketplace platforms, or financial services is a plusIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
