Local Sales & Marketing Assistant The Local Sales Assistant is primarily responsible for supporting the local sales team and ensuring that they have the tools, support and resources needed to meet and exceed the station's revenue goals, as well as serving as the back-up for the Traffic

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Advertising order entry for local Account Executives Analyze avails and support Account Executives with makegood opportunities with clients Generate and analyze sales and ratings reports Pull research information utilizing ComScore software Backup Front Desk duties Backup and support Digital Sales Specialist Act as liaison between clients and account executives Administrative and clerical support for General and Local Sales Managers as needed Create sales and marketing presentation materials Back up traffic department Back up National Sales Assistant Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years of broadcast sales coordination or traffic experience preferred Excellent written and verbalmunication skills Ability to type 40 wpm Experience creating sales and marketing materials utilizing Microsoft Office products Ability to learn and operate broadcast-specific software programs Stronganizational and time management skills Attention to detail Outstanding interpersonal skills; an energetic "team player" Ability to perform effectively under deadline pressure Flexibility to work occasional weeknights and weekends

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license
