Job Description

Marketing Assistant Lumsden McCormick CPA is looking for a creative and organized Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. This position supports the execution of the firm's marketing initiatives by assisting with graphic design, video content, digital marketing, and day-to-day marketing activities. The Marketing Assistant works closely with the marketing team to support a variety of marketing projects and initiatives across the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and edits graphics, branded materials, presentations, advertisements, social media assets, photography, and other visual content consistent with firm brand standards Assists with video production and editing for website, recruiting, and promotional content Provides day-to-day support for marketing projects, initiatives, and department priorities Supports updates to proposal content, presentations, website content, collateral, bios, and other business development and marketing materials Assists with website updates, content maintenance, email campaign creation, and other digital marketing support activities Helps ensure consistency and accuracy across marketing materials and communications Maintains awareness of current marketing, graphic design, video, and social media trends and best practices
EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom) Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required Experience with video editing and video content creation preferred, including familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, or similar video editing software Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools Organized and detail-oriented with an eye for design, brand consistency, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
