Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Associate plays a key role in executing day-to-day marketing initiatives across digital channels and supporting events, and in enhancing overall brand presence. This role is based in New Haven, with some remote work options and occasional in-state and international travel. AdvanceCT is a collaborative, mission-driven nonprofit that grows Connecticut's economy by creating jobs and attracting capital investment. A relatively flat organization, it affords the Associate regular exposure to the CEO and senior team members, direct involvement in high impact and strategic projects, and opportunities for career growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage content for social media channels, including writing, designing, and publishing posts using Canva Monitor and engage on social media to increase visibility Execute email campaigns using Constant Contact, including list management, content creation, and performance tracking Manage logistics for up to four events per month, including planning, vendor coordination, on-site support, and follow-up Assist with initiatives, campaigns, and projects as needed Track and report performance metrics across channels Qualifications Bachelor's degree; prefer Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR, or related 3-5 years of relevant social media, events and campaign experience Experience using Canva (required), Constant Contact, MS Office Suite Strong communication and organization skills and attention to detail To Apply AdvanceCT is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion; it does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, origin, gender, identity, orientation, age, disability or veteran status.
