Job Description

Samira Brow Couture is an award-winning beauty studio located in Northern Virginia offering permanent makeup (and color analysis, image consulting, permanent jewelry, and curated fashion through its sister brands). We are seeking a driven, outgoing, and highly organized Community Marketing & Events Assistant to help expand our local presence and grow bookings for services and events, particularly our color analysis and new image consulting services through sbc Color Style. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, organizing events, and generating new business opportunities within the community. The right candidate is proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented and someone who enjoys connecting with people and helping create experiences that bring clients into the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach & Business Development Research and connect with local organizations, businesses, and women's groups for potential partnerships and events Reach out to companies to book color analysis workshops, styling sessions, and beauty events Build relationships with local boutiques, fitness studios, salons, networking groups, and community organizations Identify opportunities for pop-ups, workshops, and collaborative events Follow up with leads and inquiries to convert them into booked events or appointments Event Coordination Assist in organizing and executing in-studio and on location events, workshops, and private parties Coordinate logistics for color analysis events, styling workshops, permanent jewelry parties, and beauty experiences Help manage guest lists, vendor coordination, and event promotion Assist during events to ensure a smooth and elevated client experience Marketing Support Assist with local marketing campaigns and promotions Help brainstorm creative ideas for community engagement and partnerships Assist with email outreach and client communications Assist with social media content stragegies & campaigns (

Administrative Support Assist with client communication and follow-ups Help maintain organized outreach lists and partnership contacts Support marketing initiatives and studio projects as needed Assist with light administrative tasks to support studio operations Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Outgoing and confident networking with people Highly organized and proactive A natural relationship builder Creative and resourceful in identifying opportunities for collaboration Excited about fashion, beauty, and personal style Comfortable representing the brand in the community Preferred Experience Experience in marketing, event planning, business development, or community outreach Background in beauty, fashion, styling, or boutique retail is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to take initiative and work independently Experience with email marketing or CRM tools is helpful but not required Compensation Part-time hourly position Opportunity for increased hours and expanded role based on performance and results This role has strongpotential for growth as the studio expands its events, partnerships, and styling services.
