September 2026 - May 2027 Job Overview St. John the Baptist, Most Holy Trinity, St. Ann Parish is seeking a creative, motivated, and organized Marketing Intern to support the parish's digital presence, community engagement, and weekly communications. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field who is interested in social media management, content creation, and faith-based community outreach. The Marketing Intern will help manage the parish's online presence across both the church and the connected school, ensuring consistent messaging, engaging content, and strong community connection across all platforms. This position reports directly to the Pastor, Fr. Stephen P. Norton, and works closely with the Catholic School Principal. Responsibilities Manage and maintain social media accounts for both the parish and the connected school (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Create engaging social media content including graphics, Reels, videos, promotional posts, and event coverage Publish content for weekly and special parish events Design flyers, promotional materials, and digital announcements for parish events, fundraisers, and school activities Schedule and organize posts using Meta Business Suite Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms Potentially assist with design updates and layout suggestions for the weekly parish bulletin Support marketing efforts for church events, seasonal celebrations, and community outreach initiatives Bring creative ideas and have the freedom to explore new marketing initiatives and engagement strategies Preferred Skills Experience with Canva Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and social media trends Experience using Meta Business Suite, If not training will be given Strong written communication and attention to detail Basic photography and video editing skills Ability to work independently Creative thinking and willingness to take initiative Requirements Marketing major or minor preferred (or related field such as Communications, Digital Media, or Business) Junior or Senior in college preferred Strong interest in social media marketing, branding, and community engagement Comfortable working in a collaborative church and school environment Professional, reliable, and organized Why Join Us?
