Founded in 1963, the company has grown rapidly in recent years, and our expanding product range is available in chain stores (e.g. Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and Burlington) and independents throughout the USA and in foreign countries. Job Summary DLC Laboratories is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support day-to-day brand marketing initiatives across social media, eCommerce, product development, and consumer insights. This role will work closely with the marketing team to create content, analyze performance data, conduct market research, and support initiatives that strengthen brand presence and drive growth.
Position is hybrid:
Monday and Tuesday remote, Wedensday and Thursday in the office. Fridays off. Duties Manage DLC Laboratories' Instagram and Facebook accounts, including content scheduling, creation, posting, and community engagement. Monitor social media performance, deliver insights and recommendations, and stay current on Instagram trends and emerging content formats. Partner with the Marketing Team on product development, packaging design, brand strategy, contributing creative ideas and consumer insights. Assist with creation of retailer-facing email marketing campaigns. Compile and analyze marketing data, including customer demographics and sales performance, and conduct competitive research to support marketing strategy and decision-making. Support e-commerce listing optimization through content, image, and title improvements and identify opportunities to grow and strengthen the online assortment. Attend and actively participate in weekly team strategy meetings. Support the marketing team with day-to-day projects and administrative tasks. What You Will Gain Hands-on experience managing a live brand's social media presence from strategy to execution Exposure to the full product development lifecycle and learning how a growing CPG brand operates from the inside out Working knowledge of various eCommerce platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and eBay Professional experience in competitive research and market analysis Mentorship from experienced brand marketing professionals Qualifications Education Currently a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Recent college graduates (within the last 12 months) are also welcome to apply. Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Active Instagram user with an understanding of content strategy, engagement, and platform analytics Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and reviewing abilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience generating comprehensive reports using functions such as SUM, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables Experience with Canva and Klaviyo is a plus Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative environment while also being accountable and able to work independently and resourcefully Must be available for the full internship period: June 15th - August 13th Additional Information This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
