Job Description
Job Overview TYLER'S is looking for a social-first, creative, and highly motivated Social Media & Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. This role is built for someone who lives on social, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and wants real experience creating content for a Texas-based retail brand with a loyal customer base, strong store presence, and a growing digital audience. You'll help bring TYLER'S to life across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, in-store events, vendor partnerships, and digital campaigns. From trend-driven short-form videos to product features, event coverage, campaign copy, and behind-the-scenes content, this position gives you the chance to work on real marketing projects that customers actually see. The right candidate is creative, organized, confident with ideas, and excited to learn how social media, ecommerce, retail, and brand storytelling all work together. What You'll Do Create engaging social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Help plan, shoot, edit, and schedule content that highlights TYLER'S products, brands, stores, events, and customer experience. Stay on top of social trends, trending sounds, content formats, influencer-style posts, and retail moments that make sense for TYLER'S. Write captions, hooks, short-form copy, story text, promotional messaging, and campaign copy in a way that feels natural, fun, and on-brand. Assist with content calendars for social media, email campaigns, seasonal launches, vendor promotions, giveaways, and store events. Capture photo and video content in stores, at events, and for product-focused campaigns. Edit short-form videos, reels, stories, and other visual content for social media and digital marketing channels. Support brand partnership content, community events, sponsorships, influencer-style activations, and in-store marketing moments. Help organize marketing assets, product information, vendor content, campaign timelines, and creative deliverables. Collaborate with the marketing, ecommerce, buying, and store teams to make sure content is timely, accurate, and aligned with what is happening across the business. Proofread captions, graphics, emails, website copy, and campaign messaging for accuracy, tone, grammar, and product details. Support ecommerce and website content through product-focused copy, blog assistance, SEO-aware writing, and campaign messaging. Track content performance and help identify what is working, what customers are responding to, and where we can improve. What We're Looking For Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and current social media trends. A creative eye for content, styling, photography, video, graphics, and storytelling. Strong writing skills with the ability to create captions, hooks, and short-form copy that do not sound forced or overly corporate. Comfortable shooting and editing content on a phone, camera, or both. Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar creative tools. Interest in fashion, footwear, lifestyle brands, retail, local events, and community-driven marketing. Strong attention to detail when proofreading copy, checking product information, and reviewing creative assets. Ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and keep up with deadlines in a fast-moving retail environment. Willingness to bring ideas to the table, take feedback, and learn how to create content that supports both brand awareness and sales. A team-first mindset with the confidence to work with different departments, store teams, vendors, and brand partners. Bonus Points For Experience creating Reels, TikToks, Pinterest content, or social media graphics. A portfolio, personal social account, class project, internship, or previous work that shows your content style. Basic knowledge of social media analytics, SEO, email marketing, Google Analytics, or ecommerce.
