Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager in promoting our vineyard, hotel, and restaurant offerings. This role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities, including social media management, content creation, event promotion, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning and growth.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule social media posts, stories, and updates that showcase our vineyard, hotel, and restaurant offerings, including special events, promotions, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to analyze social media metrics and insights and make recommendations for optimizing performance.
Content Creation:
  • Support the creation of high-quality written and visual content for marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email newsletters, and print collateral.
  • Assist in the production of multimedia content such as photos and videos to showcase our vineyard tours, hotel amenities, dining experiences, and special events.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all content channels, adhering to brand guidelines and voice.
Event Promotions:
  • Assist in the promotion of on-site events, including wine tastings, restaurant events, weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate event details and manage timelines and budgets.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain organized files and databases, including customer contact lists, media contacts, and inventory records.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or related roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, willing to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine interest in promoting our vineyard, hotel, and restaurant offerings.
