We're looking for a Director of Marketing & Admissions who is equal parts relationship builder, strategist, and healthcare advocate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and helping patients navigate important healthcare transitions with confidence and compassion. What You'll Do As a key member of our leadership team, you'll drive occupancy growth, strengthen referral relationships, and lead the admissions experience from first contact to successful admission.
In This Role, You Will:
Develop and execute growth strategies that increase referrals and admissions. Build and maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, case managers, physicians, discharge planners, accountable care organizations, and community stakeholders. Serve as the face of Desert Blossom Health & Rehabilitation throughout the local healthcare community. Manage and oversee the admissions pipeline, ensuring timely communication and seamless transitions of care. Conduct facility tours and educate patients, families, and referral sources about our services and outcomes. Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and census data to identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Represent the organization at networking events, industry meetings, and community outreach initiatives. Leverage CRM and admissions data to track performance and drive results. What Success Looks Like Strong referral relationships across the healthcare continuum. Consistent census growth and occupancy achievement. Positive patient and family experiences during the admissions process. Increased market visibility and community engagement. Strategic partnerships that support long-term organizational growth. What You Bring Experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, business development, or census development. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or healthcare sales experience preferred. A proven ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and grow referral networks. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills. A data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
