Brand & Marketing Operations Manager

FreelanceOn-Site$45 - $50.61 /hr Posted May 11, 2026 Overview of the Role Our global entertainment and streaming client is seeking a Brand and Marketing Operations Manager to support a global brand and franchise marketing organization within the consumer products and experiences space. This role serves as a central operational partner, helping to drive alignment, consistency, and execution across multiple brands, franchises, and cross-functional teams. The manager will focus on building and maintaining tools, processes, and materials that support marketing strategy, franchise planning, and partner engagement. This includes developing templates, coordinating approvals, supporting presentations, documenting processes, and maintaining timelines across key initiatives. This is a highly operational role, supporting day-to-day business needs and ensuring teams have the materials and structure needed to execute effectively. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong project management discipline, adaptability, and the ability to work across teams with different priorities and working styles.

Onsite in Los Angeles, CA Top 3 Required Qualifications Brand / Franchise / Consumer Products Experience:
5+ years of experience in brand management, franchise marketing, licensing, or consumer products marketing environments. Experience within entertainment, consumer products, or licensing organizations is required, with preference for consumer products and licensing backgrounds.
Operational & Project Management Focus
Strong project management mindset with experience supporting fast-paced, highly integrated environments. Proven ability to manage timelines, approvals, and multiple workstreams while supporting day-to-day operations and business needs.
Presentation & Communication Skills
Advanced PowerPoint expertise with the ability to create, refine, and maintain high-quality marketing materials, templates, and executive-ready decks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and collaborate across teams. Other Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and tools such as Airtable
Experience developing go-to-market materials, brand plans, and marketing toolkits
Ability to work cross-functionally across retail, licensing, marketing, and creative teams
Experience working with or supporting franchise strategy and long-range planning initiatives
Highly detail oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with evolving priorities
Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse personalities and stakeholders
Team-oriented approach with a positive, flexible, and collaborative mindset Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain templates for marketing deliverables, including one-sheets, brand plans, and go-to-market materials
Build and manage timelines and processes for key marketing milestones and deliverables
Coordinate review and approval workflows for marketing materials across internal stakeholders
Develop presentation materials for meetings with retail and licensing partners, including pitch decks and supporting documentation
Maintain brand calendars and ensure alignment across teams and initiatives
Partner with retail, licensing, and marketing teams to support the sell-in process and franchise initiatives
Create tools, templates, and documentation that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and workflow management
Document processes, timelines, and reference materials to support team execution and scalability
Support development of strategic plans (ranging from 12-18 months to multi-year planning) for franchise and brand initiatives
Represent the team in cross-functional meetings, helping to communicate updates and respond to questions related to properties and initiatives
Collaborate with teams across product, publishing, live experiences, theatrical marketing, and franchise teams to ensure alignment
Support day-to-day marketing operations and cross-functional coordination efforts In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
