DIGITAL MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER HAIR SALON

Job Description:

We are a growing hair salon in San Diego looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence, attract new clients, and improve client retention. This role is ideal for someone who understands beauty branding, social media trends, local marketing, and customer engagement. We are looking for someone who can help build a strong online presence while showcasing our salon culture and services.

Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (Google My Business) and Yelp Update salon information including services, photos, booking links, promotions, and business details Develop systems to increase Google and Facebook reviews Monitor and maintain online reputation management Create and manage Google Ads campaigns for local lead generation Assist with website optimization and improving online customer experience Manage booking software and automated email/text reminder systems Create email marketing campaigns for promotions, seasonal specials, and client retention Plan, create, and post content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms Film and edit short-form video content including reels, transformations, before/afters, and salon content Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and help grow online audience Stay up to date with beauty industry trends and social media trends

Qualifications:

Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, or beauty industry marketing preferred Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Google Business, Facebook, and email marketing platforms Experience with Google Ads is preferred Comfortable creating and editing social media content Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and creatively Photography, videography, Canva, or CapCut experience is a plus How to
