Job Description

This role focuses on turning product development work into ready-to-market outputs. It ensures all marketing commitments in the product development process are completed on time and at a high quality level, including copy documents, marketing specification validation, and photo and imagery guides. The Sr. Manager partners closely with the Imagery and broader Creative teams to produce product storytelling that is credible, useful, and consistent with Harbor Freight's voice. This leader defines how product marketing operates by setting processes, establishing priorities, and aligning cross-functional teams to execute launches for key items and marquee product families. They work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Quality Assurance, Insights, Analytics, and Channel teams to ensure alignment with company priorities. This role is accountable for improving the quality and consistency of product marketing output, setting and enforcing a high standard for product marketing quality across copy, imagery, and launches. Launches should be clear, engaging, and stand out as compelling, well-executed moments for customers. Product content should build credibility with professional and serious tool users. This leader builds alignment through strong partnership, brings clarity to decisions, and helps position product marketing as a strong contributor to business performance. Duties and Responsibilities Product Development Deliverables Launch Coordination and Prioritization Imagery and Creative Partnership Product Messaging and Content Quality Cross-Functional Leadership and Alignment Insights and Performance Partnership Team Leadership and Capability Building Scope Staff supervision and development: Yes. Directly manages Product Marketing Associates, providing day-to-day direction, prioritization, and coaching. Responsible for elevating team output quality across copy, imagery, and launch execution. Actively reviews and shapes team deliverables to ensure a high standard of quality across copy, imagery, and launches.
Decision making:
Drives prioritization and execution of product marketing work. Provides clear recommendations and direction on messaging, imagery, and launch readiness. Builds alignment across cross-functional partners and influences decisions through strong collaboration rather than formal authority.
Cross-functional leadership:
Acts as a central point of coordination across Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Quality Assurance, Insights, Analytics, and Channel teams. Responsible for aligning stakeholders and ensuring marketing deliverables are completed accurately and on time within the product development process.

Anywhere The anticipated salary range for this position is $147,800 - $221,700 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year, (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
