Market Operations Manager - LA/Long Beach About Office Libations Office Libations provides premium coffee, beverages, snacks, and food programs that power productivity at workplaces across the United States. From fast-growing startups to Fortune 500 companies, we help companies take better care of their teams through hospitality-driven service and thoughtfully curated food and beverage programs. Our company combines hospitality with proprietary technology to operate one of the most efficient workplace refreshment platforms in the industry. Our systems automate ordering, inventory forecasting, and route planning, allowing our teams to focus on delivering exceptional service. We are expanding into new markets across the country and are looking for strong operators to help us build and run them. The Opportunity We are launching our LA/Long Beach market and are looking for a Market Operations Manager to help lead day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, solving operational challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will oversee local warehouse and route operations while working closely with the company's leadership and centralized support teams. Our technology and remote support systems handle many of the administrative and ordering tasks so that this role can focus on team leadership, operational execution, and client experience. This is a hands-on leadership role . We are a Veteran-owned company and leaders at Office Libations are expected to lead from the front and are willing to jump in wherever needed to ensure great service for our clients. Key Outcomes The person who succeeds in this role will achieve the following: Launch and stabilize the LA/Long Beach market operations Ensure warehouse operations, client service, and route delivery run smoothly and reliably. Deliver exceptional client experience Maintain high client satisfaction through consistent service, quick problem resolution, and attention to detail. Build and lead a strong local team Recruit, train, and develop route drivers, warehouse staff, and service technicians. Operate an efficient warehouse and route system Maintain accurate inventory, ensure orders are fulfilled correctly, and minimize waste or spoilage. Maintain a safe and organized operation Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean, well-run workplace. Responsibilities Operations Leadership Oversee the day-to-day operations of the market, including warehouse activity, delivery routes, and client service execution. Coordinate with centralized support teams responsible for ordering, technology systems, and operational planning. Identify operational issues quickly and implement practical solutions. Ensure the team consistently meets company service and quality standards. Opeational Excellence. Not Operational Okayness Team Leadership Recruit, train, and manage local operations staff. Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to performance standards. Provide regular coaching and feedback to help team members improve and develop. Schedule staff appropriately based on operational needs. Maintain a positive, professional, and accountable team culture. We build and develop our people. Client Experience Serve as the operational point of contact for client service issues. Work to resolve service challenges quickly and professionally. Ensure every client location receives reliable, high-quality service. Identify opportunities to improve the overall client experience. Meeting client expectations is failure. We exceed their expectations. Operational Execution Oversee warehouse operations including order picking, loading, and inventory organization. Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with inventory control processes. Ensure proper product rotation and quality control standards (FIFO). Occasionally assist with deliveries, installations, or service tasks when needed. Support preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment. Safety and Compliance Maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Ensure safe operation of company vehicles and equipment. Follow all relevant food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations. Qualifications Required 3+ years of management or leadership experience in operations, logistics, food service, hospitality, or a related field. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Comfort working in a fast-paced operational environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Valid US driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and MVR/Insurance check Preferred Experience managing warehouse, delivery, or route-based operations. Experience in food service, hospitality, or workplace services. Familiarity with inventory management or operational software systems. Experience launching or building new operational programs. Physical and Operational Requirements Ability to lift and move cases of snacks, beverages, and equipment approximately 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Comfort working in warehouse and delivery environments. Ability to safely operate company vehicles including cargo vans and box trucks. Willingness to occasionally support warehouse, delivery, or installation tasks when needed.
Compensation and Benefits Salary:
$85,000 - $100,000 base salary depending on experiencePerformance Bonus:
