We are seeking Marketing Director ("Marketer on Deck") to provide elite admissions leadership across our regional Skilled Nursing Facilities. We have 13 SNFs in our region. This role will step into any one of these facilities if/when the need arises. This will require adaptability. Because we operate a large number of facilities, vacancies and sudden transition needs naturally arise. Your mission in this dynamic, multi-facility role is to step in immediately to ensure hospital and referral relationships are not only maintained but strengthened during a leadership transition. Assignment Lifecycle Works:
Deep-Dive Transition Support:
You will temporarily drop into a facility to stabilize marketing operations, audit pipelines, and accelerate census growth.Potential Long-Term Placement:
If you find that a specific facility is an ideal professional match, you may choose to transition into that permanent role. The "On Deck"Resource:
Alternatively, once a permanent marketer is selected for that building, you may transition back into our general regional resource pool, ready to deploy to the next high-priority project. Develop and execute strategic facility marketing plans. Meet and exceed monthly census goals while driving an optimal ratio of Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care, and private pay.Rapid Referral Response:
Oversee incoming inquiries from physicians, discharge planners, and social workers, ensuring a strict 15-minute response time for all referrals.Community & Hospital Relations:
Maintain daily face-to-face contact with acute care case managers, physicians, and social workers. Conduct clinical assessments in local hospitals to seamlessly bridge the gap between acute discharge and facility admission.Multidisciplinary Coordination:
Partner closely with facility clinical teams to verify that potential admissions meet both clinical acuity and financial requirements. Ensure all new admissions possess pristine PDPM documentation (including discharge summaries, therapy/nursing notes, and medication lists).Family & Onboarding Excellence:
Welcome incoming patients and families with dignity, empathy, and respect. Manage the ongoing relationship and ensure the accurate, timely completion of all required legal and financial admission paperwork.Requirements Experience:
1 to 5+ years of dedicated marketing and admissions success specifically within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute healthcare setting.Knowledge Base:
Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and managed care admission/discharge regulations, alongside strict adherence to HIPAA standards.Leadership Capabilities:
Outstanding communication skills, high emotional intelligence, strong leadership qualities, and a "can-do" mentality.Logistics:
Reliable transportation and a total willingness to travel between assigned regional facilities as operational needs and vacancy windows arise. Pay Scale including but not limited to commensurate skills, experience, locationPay:
