The job requires 100% on-site presence during business hours. Company Overview xTool is a leader in laser engraving and cutting technology, celebrated for its innovative products for small businesses and creative enthusiasts. With users in 62+ countries, we've enabled the creation of more than 30 million projects globally. At xTool, creativity knows no limits. With relentless innovation, we're committed to bringing the joy of creation to more people. Create. Innovate. Inspire. Role Overview xTool's global digital marketing and content engine is led by our HQ team, which already runs a mature, high-output operation. The US Content Manager owns a different but equally critical mandate: you are the architect of xTool's local content engine in North America. Your mission is to design and run the system that turns local activity — Makerfest caravan stops, Showroom productions, user stories, PR moments, community signals — into a steady, high-quality flow of content assets that fuel both local brand-building and our global content engine. You'll set the strategy, build the playbook, manage agencies and freelancers, oversee a Specialist on the ground, and partner directly with our HQ team in China. You think in seasons, not single shoots — but you also still know how to run a set when it counts. ⸻Key Responsibilities Own the US local content strategy and roadmap Build and own xTool's annual US content roadmap — covering the Makerfest caravan calendar, Showroom programming, user story themes, PR support, and community-sourced content. Define what we make, why, and how it ladders into the brand. Lead Makerfest caravan content end-to-end Own content strategy across every caravan stop — from theme planning, production briefs, and creative direction, to on-site coordination at key activations (~25% travel). Ensure every stop produces a rich, cohesive library of brand assets.

Run Showroom programming as a content platform Turn the US Showroom into an always-on content stage — live streams, workshops, launches, creator meetups. Define the content slate, secure talent, and ensure each production delivers strong assets for downstream use. Direct the US user story programLead the annual user story plan covering small business owners, makers, educators, and creators. Set the editorial direction, identify lead subjects, and ensure each story lands with emotional resonance and brand fit. No remote team can produce these — and your job is to make sure they exist. Partner with PR and amplify with contentWork alongside our PR team to ensure story material, press kits, and visual assets exist for every media moment. Lead content capture for major media visits, industry events, and KOL/journalist partnerships. Mine community and customer service for story opportunities Build a working rhythm with customer service and community teams to systematically surface content gold from real user feedback. Turn these into user stories, problem-solution content, and word-of-mouth narratives. Make "service" a structured source of "story."Build and lead the US content production network Source, contract, and manage external agencies and freelancers — videographers, editors, copywriters, local creators. Set the brand bar, write the briefs, run reviews, and ensure every external dollar delivers on quality and tone. Manage and grow the Content SpecialistLead, coach, and develop the Content Specialist on the ground. Set priorities, review work, and build their craft over time. Drive cross-region collaboration with HQ Be the primary content partner for our HQ digital marketing and content teams in China. Run regular planning syncs, align on quarterly themes, package field assets into structured handoffs, and make sure local production fuels global amplification. You're the source; they're the amplifier — and you make that pipeline work. Feed market intelligence back to HQTranslate front-line observations — local preferences, content performance, cultural trends — into actionable insight for global strategy.
