Job Description
Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Website Experience and Growth Manager to own and optimize our company's web presence end-to-end. This role is responsible for ensuring our website delivers an exceptional user experience, drives qualified lead generation, engages prospective partners, and is fully optimized for modern search - including both traditional SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) across AI-powered search platforms. You will serve as the central owner of the website, bridging executive leadership and marketing to continuously improve performance, visibility, and conversion. Success Metrics Growth in qualified inbound leads from the website Growth in engagement of prospective partners Improved organic traffic (SEO + AI search visibility) Increased conversion rates of high-quality leads on key pages Improved engagement metrics (bounce rate, time on site, etc.) Faster site performance and strong technical health Key Responsibilities 1. Website Ownership & Strategy Own the overall strategy, performance, structure, and effectiveness of the company website Define and execute a roadmap to improve engagement, conversion rates, and lead generation Ensure alignment with brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategy 2. User Experience (UX) & Conversion Optimization Continuously improve site navigation, layout, and user journeys Optimize key pages and conversion paths (forms, demos, CTAs) Run A/B tests and experiments to improve conversion rates Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and page performance Scale global web experiences with localization in select geographies 3. Content & Information Architecture Partner with executive leadership and marketing to plan and publish web content Own site structure, page hierarchy, and internal linking strategy Ensure content is clear, compelling, and aligned to buyer intent Maintain consistency across pages, messaging, and calls to action 4. SEO & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) Develop and execute SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and content) Optimize content for AI-driven search experiences (AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity, and Claude) Structure content for answerability (FAQs, schema markup, structured data) Conduct keyword and intent research to guide content creation Monitor rankings, traffic, and search visibility 5. Technical Website Management Oversee CMS (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, etc.) and ensure content can be easily managed Manage site performance, uptime, and page speed optimization Coordinate with developers for enhancements, integrations, and fixes Maintain SEO technical health (crawlability, indexing, structured data, etc.) Ensure proper tracking (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) 6. Analytics & Performance Tracking Define and track KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversion rates, leads) Build dashboards and regularly report on website performance Use data to inform optimization decisions and roadmap priorities 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with executive leadership, marketing, sales, and development teams Translate business goals into website improvements Manage external vendors or agencies as needed Qualifications Required 5+ years managing or optimizing websites in a B2B or SaaS environment Strong understanding of AEO and SEO (technical + content) Experience with

search optimization strategies Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (not necessarily a developer) Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) Proven ability to improve conversion rates and drive lead generation Preferred Familiarity with schema markup and structured data Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, etc.) Background in growth marketing or demand generation Experience working cross-functionally in mid-sized companiesPay:
