We are seeking an experienced, driven, and relationship-focused Director of Marketing to lead our marketing and business development efforts throughout the San Diego market. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare marketing professional who is passionate about building referral relationships, driving census growth, and leading a high-performing team. Position Summary The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all marketing and business development activities for the agency. This individual will develop and execute growth strategies, manage referral relationships, mentor marketing staff, and collaborate closely with agency leadership to achieve census and revenue goals. Healthcare marketing experience is required, and home health experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive agency growth. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources. Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities. Track referral activity, conversion rates, and census growth metrics. Represent the agency at networking events, community outreach programs, and industry functions. Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to ensure excellent patient and referral partner experiences. Maintain knowledge of Medicare, home health regulations, and industry trends. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of healthcare marketing, business development, or sales leadership experience. Home health, hospice, or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to develop and maintain referral relationships. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
