This is not a digital ad agency role. While social media is part of the job, success here means being out in the field, showing up at the right events, and turning great work into great stories. If you like a mix of creative content, real-world networking, and keeping a lot of moving pieces on track — and you already know how to do all of it — you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Social Media & Content Manage and maintain our Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts, posting at least 2x/week on each Develop a monthly content calendar and submit it for approval a week in advance Gather content from completed, in-progress, and awarded jobs to share online Engage with followers, respond to comments, and coordinate team resharing on LinkedIn Capture one customer testimonial per month and schedule drone footage for project highlights Marketing & Brand Create and refresh printed marketing materials while keeping the brand consistent across all collateral Write one monthly blog post to support SEO and assist with monthly email newsletters Design and send monthly mass email campaigns (Constant Contact) Client & Warranty Follow-Up Track customer warranties and follow up monthly on preventive maintenance schedules Support the sales team by tracking proposed work and jobs in progress, and keeping clients updated Events & Client Engagement Monitor key industry organization calendars so we show up at the right events Register team members, coordinate booth setup, giveaways, and printed materials Plan and execute lunch-and-learns and key client lunches Network with clients at events to build relationships and support business development Special Projects Help design and deliver annual client gifting campaigns Manage marketing giveaways and promotional item orders What We're Looking For 5+ years of marketing experience, including independently running social media, content, email campaigns, and events with minimal oversight Demonstrated business development experience — comfortable networking, building client relationships, and supporting a sales team in the field Proven track record managing a content calendar, brand consistency, and multi-channel campaigns end to end Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) to create content, streamline marketing workflows, and improve efficiency — and able to identify new ways AI can support the company's marketing and operations Excellent written and verbal communication; outgoing and confident interacting with clients in person Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact or similar) and design tools (Canva or similar) — no ramp-up required Strong organizational and project-management skills across many simultaneous priorities Industry experience in construction, roofing, property management, or B2B services strongly preferred Why Join Us We're a growing company based in San Diego, serving clients across all of Southern California.
