Job Description

We are looking for a Field Marketing Event Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of in-person marketing programs that support account-based and industry-focused initiatives in California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a highly organized marketing specialist who can coordinate multiple moving parts, create strong attendee experiences, and partner effectively with internal teams and external vendors. The role requires strong execution skills, sound judgment, and a focus on driving measurable business outcomes through well-run events.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the full event lifecycle, including venue selection, supplier coordination, catering arrangements, audiovisual setup, branded materials, and promotional items.
  • Maintain the event schedule and manage registration tools, attendee outreach, and check-in workflows to support a smooth participant experience.
  • Lead event-day operations by organizing staffing plans, coordinating timelines, and ensuring each program runs according to plan.
  • Monitor spending throughout the event process, handle purchase order activities, reconcile vendor costs, and keep programs aligned with approved budgets.
  • Record event-generated leads in the appropriate system within established timelines and prepare post-event summaries that highlight performance and follow-up needs.
  • Measure and report on key event outcomes such as delivery against schedule, budget adherence, attendee feedback, conversion from registration to attendance, lead volume, and pipeline contribution.
  • Work closely with account-based and vertical marketing teams to align event execution with campaign goals and brand expectations.
