Introduction:
MIPS, by GlobalFoundries, is seeking an individual to support outbound marketing functions for the company. This is a high visibility role, reporting to the MIPS marketing director. You will work closely with MIPS executives, product leaders, customers, and partners. You will be responsible for ensuring the tactical execution and delivery of MIPS outbound marketing messaging, collaterals, and events, for MIPS product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of storylines and narratives for MIPS business unit marketing campaigns by Participating in stakeholder interviews to identify message pillars, key themes, use cases and storylines from technical discussions, documentation, and design Assist in developing compelling collaterals to engage customers, partners, media, and analysts by: Contributing to design and preparation of PowerPoint presentations Contributing copy writing for corporate blogs, press releases, email marketing, social campaigns and other marketing collaterals Assist in MIPS participation in events and speaking, coordinating with team members from MIPS business unit and MIPS business development. This may include Developing titles, abstracts, and summaries for call-for-paper submissions and sponsored speaking Designing and finalizing digital and physical brochures, 1-pagers, banners, and advertising Speaking and/or presenting papers at industry conferences Administrative duties at events and functions
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education -Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications or related field. Experience - Minimum Years in 0-3 field. Skills Ability to engage with different levels of employees from peers to leadership team Experience engaging and driving cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of collaterals Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and eye for detail Willingness to grow as part of the organization and the changing needs of the business Experience using Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, Teams, Edge) Travel - Up to 25% Fluency in English Language Strong verbal and written communication for internal and external audiences Physical Capacity Demands - Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
Awareness of the embedded processor market for microprocessors and microcontrollers Awareness of Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, and Enterprise Infrastructure uses for microprocessors and microcontrollers Previous experience in processor IP or related semiconductor IP areas, particularly RISC-V Experience working in fast-paced dynamic, startup-like, work environment Experience participating at Events, particularly public speaking Strong written and verbal communication skills.
