Job Description

Overview Client is seeking a Principal Experience Designer to lead UX/UI and customer experience strategy for digital products and capabilities that support patient, customer, and internal stakeholder engagement. This role will serve as a senior individual contributor and subject matter expert, helping shape design standards, drive product experience innovation, mentor junior designers, and deliver seamless, compliant, user-centered digital experiences. Core Responsibilities Shape digital-forward experience design vision, standards, and product experience strategy. Partner with experience design leadership to align product standards with enterprise priorities, technical capabilities, and process opportunities. Lead innovation workstreams to support experimentation, new product concepts, and feature development. Collaborate with analytics partners to define target users, understand user research, prioritize features, and establish performance objectives. Drive experience design initiatives tied to product planning, operational execution, delivery milestones, adoption, engagement, and measurable business impact. Evangelize the value of UX/UI and CX design across senior leadership and enterprise stakeholder groups. Support product roadmap prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and conflict resolution across cross-functional teams. Collaborate with UX/UI analysts, business product owners, global product managers, and technical partners to align customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Gather, align, and implement stakeholder feedback while ensuring product direction supports larger business objectives. Define business cases and support budgetary or funding needs. Partner with measurement and optimization teams to inform UX and CX advancements. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Mentor junior experience design team members and help foster a culture of design quality, collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies Bachelor's degree in business, technology, operations, science, marketing, or a related field. 10 years of professional experience, including 7 years in experience design, product design, UX design, or a related field. Strong UX/UI, CX, product design, and digital product experience. Ability to manage the full product lifecycle, including vision, roadmap creation, execution, and impact measurement. Strong stakeholder alignment and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience mentoring or coaching design talent. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and evangelize product vision. Experience working in Agile environments or bringing Agile best practices to teams. Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams to support governance and regulatory standards. Ability to drive innovation, experimentation, and product capability improvements. Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision. Ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving environments. Preferred Skills or Experience Advanced degree or equivalent experience, such as an MBA or related graduate-level qualification. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries. Experience managing complex projects requiring strategic planning and operational execution. Advanced knowledge of workflow tools, automation systems, and compliance frameworks. Experience building and managing a design system.
Work Details On-site working model:
three days onsite, two days remote.
Interview format:
three rounds, including hiring manager video interview, panel video interview with portfolio presentation, and final video interview.
