Senior Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager Hours :
Normal business hours.
Salary Range :
$157,900 to $249,600, which is base pay with a 12% discretionary bonus structure. Compensation will be based on candidate qualifications.
Job Scope/Duties:
Develops and owns integrated marketing strategies aligned to business objectives, including loan growth, product adoption, and member retention goals. Creates cohesive, multi-channel marketing plans using the most effective mix of channels, such as digital display, social media, email, in-branch, direct mail, out-of-home, television, and other appropriate tactics. Partners with business stakeholders to shift marketing discussions from tactical requests to outcome-based strategies, defining success measures and recommending the most effective path forward. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product, branch, digital banking, and business development, to understand priorities and provide strategic marketing consultation. Works closely with creative, analytics, and external vendor partners to execute campaigns and evaluate performance. Establishes and maintains core marketing infrastructure, including campaign calendars, integrated planning processes, performance reporting, and measurement frameworks. Conducts market research, competitive analysis, and member insight analysis to inform strategy and identify opportunities. Ensures all marketing initiatives align with brand standards, compliance requirements, and organizational priorities.
Experience/Minimum Education Requirements:
Requires ten (10) years of directly related marketing and digital marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Minimum of eight (8) years of leadership experience. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field required Master's degree preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of integrated planning and execution, including development of campaign plans, creative briefs, timelines, and coordinated go-to-market activities across teams and channels. Proven ability to influence without direct authority and effectively lead cross-functional stakeholders, agency partners, and external vendors through collaboration, trust, and accountability. Strong analytical and measurement skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, enhance reporting discipline, and define meaningful success metrics in evolving environments. Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to distill complex strategies into clear, concise recommendations and present effectively to senior leaders. Strong operational skills with experience building and managing foundational infrastructure such as campaign calendars, planning processes, and repeatable workflows. Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic and consultative partner by translating tactical requests into outcome-focused marketing recommendations. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, create structure where needed, and drive progress with a proactive, builder-oriented mindset.
