About the Role AstraZeneca is seeking a Marketing Director, Consumer to lead the consumer marketing strategy for BREZTRI, our inhaled respiratory therapy for COPD and Asthma. In this role you will own the consumer brand plan and drive omnichannel campaigns that build awareness and activate patients. You will partner across the organization to deliver a best-in-class, patient-centric brand experience. Key Responsibilities Own and develop the annual consumer marketing strategy and brand plan for BREZTRI, aligned to brand and franchise objectives. Lead omnichannel direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaign development across TV, digital, social, CRM, and point-of-care channels. Drive patient acquisition, activation, and adherence programs that improve the COPD and asthma patient journeys. Manage creative, media, and analytics agency partners, scopes, timelines, and the consumer marketing budget. Partner cross-functionally with HCP marketing, market access, medical, sales, and analytics to deliver an integrated brand experience. Ensure all consumer materials clear medical, regulatory, and legal (MLR) review and remain compliant. Define KPIs, measure campaign performance, and continuously optimize spend and ROI. Lead consumer insights, segmentation, and message testing to inform strategy and creative. Work with a team of marketers, fostering a high-performing, consumer-centric culture. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field; MBA preferred. 8+ years of marketing experience, including significant consumer/DTC experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare. Demonstrated success leading omnichannel and DTC campaigns from strategy through execution. Experience navigating pharmaceutical regulatory and MLR/PRC review processes. Proven people-leadership experience managing and developing marketing talent. Strong agency and budget management skills. Preferred Qualifications Respiratory or specialty/primary care brand experience. Experience growing a consumer brand in a regulated category. Familiarity with patient adherence and CRM program design. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
