We work in direct-response — our growth comes from funnels, copy, landing pages, and paid media that move a regulated financial offer to qualified, high-intent buyers. This is a builder's role, not an oversight seat. We need an operator who can sit down, build the landing page, write the long-form copy, wire up the tracking, launch the campaign, read the numbers the next morning, and iterate — without an agency between them and the work. If you have run acquisition for a financial newsletter, an investment or alternative-asset offer, or any compliance-heavy direct-response business, you will recognize this playbook immediately. What You'll Own Funnel & Landing Page Buildout (core of the job) Design, build, and continuously test landing pages, opt-in pages, sales pages, and advertorials (Unbounce or equivalent + Adobe Creative Suite).
Own the full funnel:
lead magnets, live and evergreen webinars, VSLs, and registration flows. Run structured A/B and multivariate testing across pages, offers, CTAs, and forms; keep a living testing roadmap. Conduct CRO analysis using heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioral tools. Direct-Response Copy & Creative Write the copy yourself: ads, headlines, long-form sales pages, advertorials, email, and video scripts. Direct creative for ad assets (static, video, carousel, UGC) and edit video/motion as needed. Develop positioning angles grounded in the macro environment, markets, and tax landscape. Paid Media, Partnerships & Acquisition Plan, buy, and optimize across the full channel mix — Meta, Google, YouTube, Native/Retargeting, CTV/Radio, dedicated email/newsletter, and affiliate/partner sources. Own pixels, UTMs, and attribution; reallocate budget by source and performance every month. Manage and hold accountable outside media buyers, vendors, and partners. CRM, Nurture & Lifecycle Run a modern CRM end to end: lists, workflows, sequences, dashboards, data hygiene. Build automated email and SMS nurture programs that convert, with full 10DLC/TCPA compliance. Partner with the sales floor so every lead gets worked and nothing leaks. Analytics & Attribution Stand up and own GA4, Tag Manager, and attribution reporting. Track CPL, CPA, ROAS, LTV, and closed-revenue ROI by channel; report weekly/monthly/quarterly to leadership. Provide real-time visibility into spend, lead quality, deal sizes, and cycle times. Compliance & Risk Keep all marketing aligned with FTC and applicable industry rules for regulated financial offers. Maintain disclaimers, privacy policy, and T&Cs; manage SMS/email compliance and reputation (BBB, Trustpilot, Google). What We're Looking For Required Direct-response financial publishing (finpub) experience — you have marketed an investment, newsletter, or financial/alternative-asset offer and know the playbook cold. This is non-negotiable. Demonstrated landing page / funnel building — you can show pages you personally built and the numbers they produced. Strong direct-response copywriting; a portfolio of ads, advertorials, or sales pages you wrote. Hands-on paid media buying across at least Meta, Google, and native/email. CRM proficiency:
workflows, sequences, lead scoring, reporting. Fluency with GA4, Tag Manager, attribution, and the metrics that matter (CPL, CPA, ROAS, LTV). Working knowledge of compliance for regulated financial marketing (FTC, SMS 10DLC/TCPA). Strong Plus Prior work with a retirement-focused or alternative-asset financial offer. Experience buying finpub affiliate / co-registration / newsletter inventory. Webinar funnel experience (live + evergreen) for an older, higher-net-worth audience. Comfort with AI tools for research, ideation, and production speed. Who Thrives Here Builders, not delegators. You would rather ship the page than write the brief. Numbers-first. You decide off the dashboard, not off opinion. Fast. You can launch this week and read results next week. Accountable. You own the revenue outcome, not just the click. Pay:
