Job Description

Hotel Sales Manager-SMERF Market 1500 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32809 From $80,000 a year - Full-time From $80,000 a year - Full-time Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within assigned market segments Proactively solicit new business through prospecting, networking, site visits, and industry engagement Maintain and grow existing accounts by building strong client relationships and ensuring repeat business Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, RFP responses, contract negotiation, and closing
Market Segment Focus Religious/Fraternal:
Conferences, retreats, meetings, and recurring group events
Education:
College/Universities programs/conferences,
Youth Competition Social/Competition:
Dance organizations, Community Service Clubs, Social Clubs Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years of hotel sales experience, with strong background in group sales, SMERF preferred Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals Experience in one or more of the assigned segments preferred Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in sales systems preferred (Opera, Proposal Path, or similar), Microsoft Office and Excel Competencies Results-driven with strong business acumen Relationship-focused with excellent customer service skills Strategic thinker with proactive sales approach Strong organizational and time management abilities Collaborative team player with cross-functional partnership mindset Flexibility of adapting to new opportunities Work Environment & Expectations Ability to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and networking events Flexibility to attend industry events, including evenings or weekends as needed Active participation in property meetings, sales strategy sessions, and community engagement

From $80,000.00 per year
