We are seeking a high-performing Market Manager to drive revenue growth, strengthen distributor and customer relationships, and expand market share within assigned industry verticals. This is more than a sales role. The Market Manager serves as both the primary field representative and the business leader for their assigned markets, with direct responsibility for revenue growth, gross profit performance, strategic partnerships, and new business development. Position Summary The Market Manager owns revenue and gross profit performance within assigned market segments through a combination of: Strategic account management Distributor relationship development Business development and prospecting Consultative, solutions-based selling Field execution and customer engagement Success requires a strong field presence, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a commitment to understanding customer challenges before recommending solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Market Ownership Own revenue and gross profit performance within assigned markets Develop and execute territory growth strategies Identify new business opportunities, competitive displacement targets, and market expansion initiatives Achieve sales objectives while maintaining pricing and margin discipline Customer & Distributor Development Build relationships with customers, distributors, and key decision-makers Conduct business reviews and joint growth planning with strategic partners Drive distributor engagement through training, joint sales calls, and market development initiatives Serve as a trusted business partner to key distributor accounts Field Sales & Business Development Execute a high level of face-to-face customer and distributor visits Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and field activity Conduct site visits, application evaluations, and customer discovery meetings Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent field execution Solutions-Based Selling Lead with discovery and problem-solving rather than product pitching Identify customer needs, application requirements, and performance challenges Develop value-driven solutions that improve customer outcomes Collaborate with technical resources to support complex opportunities and customer success Collaboration & Execution Partner closely with Inside Sales to drive pipeline growth and customer engagement Maintain CRM activity, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity visibility Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback QualificationsRequired 5+ years of outside sales, business development, territory management, or strategic account management experience Proven track record of revenue growth and sales success Experience managing distributor, channel partner, or key account relationships Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to travel extensively and spend significant time in the field Preferred Experience in adhesives, sealants, chemicals, industrial products, construction materials, transportation, composites, or related industries Background in consultative, technical, or solutions-based sales Experience with CRM and pipeline management systems Why Join Forza?
