  • Full-time ACS is a growing distributor of two-way radios and communication solutions that support customers across a variety of industries.
As a smaller, fast-moving team, we value collaboration, flexibility, and people who take ownership of their work. We're looking for a Marketing Designer who enjoys variety, can shift priorities when needed, and wants to make a visible impact. The Marketing Designer will play a hands-on role in creating and executing marketing content across print, digital, and social media channels. This position works closely with marketing and sales and may support a wide range of initiatives on any given day—from marketing materials, graphics and presentations to social media assets, website updates, and video content for our YouTube channel. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys wearing multiple hats, contributing ideas, and helping shape how the brand shows up across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities Design and produce marketing materials for print, digital, social media, email, website, and trade shows Create and edit video content for the company's YouTube channel, including basic filming, editing, and graphic overlays Photograph, edit and manipulate digital photography for use in print and online formats Assist with planning video concepts, storyboards, and visual direction in collaboration with the marketing team Manage projects from concept through completion, including gathering requirements, creating layouts, revising designs, and preparing final files Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels Maintain and follow brand standards while offering ideas for improvement and consistency Assist on creating and updating sales and marketing presentations using PowerPoint Assist with website updates and creation of web assets and/or pages Help maintain and organize marketing materials such as catalogs, price pages, and customer/prospect files Support trade shows, online events, and promotional efforts as needed Collaborate closely with the Sales team and other internal groups to support marketing programs Stay current on design, video, and content trends, tools, and platforms and apply them where appropriate Assist with process improvements to help the marketing function run more efficiently Take on additional tasks as needed in a small-team environment Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field required Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint Organized, consistent, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects at once Comfortable shifting priorities and adapting to changing needs Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality Experience with photography, videography, and Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (such as ActiveCampaign) is a plus. Experience blending traditional design with emerging AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly and ActiveCampaign AI) is a plus. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Portfolio & Interview Process To help ensure a strong fit for both the candidate and our team, the interview process will include:
Portfolio Review:
Candidates will be asked to share a portfolio prior to in person interview demonstrating relevant design work across print, digital, and/or video formats. This may include professional, academic, or personal projects.
Onsite Design Exercise:
Final candidates will complete a timed, guided design exercise during an in-person interview. This exercise is based on realistic scenarios similar to the work performed in this role and will be completed onsite following provided guidelines. The purpose is to understand design approach, problem-solving, and workflow—not speed or perfection.
