This role is responsible for developing and executing brand initiatives that build awareness, drive engagement, and strengthen Copper & Kings' position as the leader of the American brandy. You'll work closely with leadership, sales, hospitality, creative partners, and external agencies to ensure every touchpoint—from product launches and partnerships to digital content and experiential activations—reflects the Copper & Kings brand and vision. Known for doing things differently—like aging brandy in bourbon barrels and finishing bourbon in brandy barrels—we celebrate a modern American take on spirits. With a flavorful portfolio and a distinctly rebellious spirit, Copper & Kings is proud to be at the forefront of the American brandy revival. Now under independent ownership by Bourdon Spirits Co., we're entering an exciting new era—with a fresh brand identity, new product lines, and a creative vision rooted in culture, craftsmanship, and momentum. This role is essential to bringing that vision to life through compelling brand building, storytelling, and consumer engagement. What You Can Expect A collaborative, fast-paced environment at one of Louisville's most distinctive distilleries The opportunity to help shape and grow an iconic American spirits brand Close collaboration with company leadership and external creative partners Competitive pay and opportunities for growth within a creative spirits brand On-site work at our Butchertown distillery Full-time employees eligible for benefits (healthcare, paid time off) Your Responsibilities Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support brand growth, awareness, and sales objectives Manage the day-to-day execution of brand campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and retail channels Coordinate product launches, promotions, partnerships, and brand activations Work with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling marketing assets and content Ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, including packaging, events, digital platforms, and point-of-sale materials Support social media strategy, content planning, and community engagement efforts Analyze campaign performance and consumer insights to optimize future marketing initiatives Assist in planning and executing events, sponsorships, and experiential marketing programs Collaborate with sales teams to develop marketing tools and programs that support distribution growth Maintain a strong understanding of consumer trends, competitive activity, and opportunities within the spirits industry Represent Copper & Kings with authenticity, creativity, and confidence What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, consumer products, beverage alcohol, hospitality, or a related field Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, branding, and consumer engagement Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and measure campaign effectiveness Experience managing agencies, vendors, or cross-functional teams is a plus Entrepreneurial attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced growth environment Passion for spirits, hospitality, lifestyle brands, or consumer products Based in or willing to relocate to Louisville, KY How to Apply If you're excited about joining a brand that's redefining American spirits and want to be part of an ambitious, creative team—we'd love to hear from you.
