This position is supervised by the Executive Director and is responsible for achieving a level of public awareness of CASA sufficient to maintain adequate volunteers, funding and community support. Job Overview The Marketing and Volunteer Manager will be responsible for attracting and recruiting qualified volunteers, conducting community outreach, managing volunteer applications, and coordinating continuing training and education sessions. Planning recognition events and attention to volunteer retention are equally important. The role will also include some marketing and communications tasks, special event assistance and fund development duties as needed. Experience in writing and editing, public speaking, and press releases is required. An ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and beliefs in a caring manner. They must be goal oriented, creative, and resourceful. Most importantly, he or she should have a sense of mission to children's issues. Employee classification is full-time exempt. Duties Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Recruitment, Support and Outreach:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new volunteer applicants through community outreach, events, and digital platforms. Build relationships with community organizations, faith-based institutions, universities, and other partners to promote volunteer opportunities. Create collateral for volunteer recruitment efforts, including the creation of flyers, posters, and other promotional materials. Represent and speak about the organization at community events, Jury Pool, local outreach fairs, and radio or television opportunities. Foster strong relationships with volunteers, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed. Develop and implement strategies to retain volunteers, including recognition programs and volunteer appreciation events.

Marketing and Communication:

Design and distribute flyers, newsletters, Annual Report and other digital marketing materials to boost community awareness and volunteer involvement. All marketing and public relations materials including newsletters, annual report, invitations, signage, press releases and public service announcements are created, written, edited, and distributed timely. Manage the organization's social media accounts, creating engaging content to promote volunteer opportunities and organizational news. Maintain and update website content using WIX, including volunteer recruitment pages, blog posts, and event listings. Ensure annual marketing strategies are developed and implemented to meet set goals for volunteer recruitment (including targeted segments and populations), volunteer recognition and public awareness. Reporting as needed Create strategies to grow subscriber base and track metrics. Establish a calendar of activities and strategies for the purpose of recruiting, training and recognizing volunteers.

Data Management and Reporting:

Track and report on volunteer recruitment efforts, providing regular updates on key metrics such as application numbers, volunteer onboarding, and retention rates. Understanding digital analytics to track successful online campaigns and social media growth. Ensure accurate record-keeping of volunteer activities and compliance with organizational policies. Events Special Event collaboration and assistance as needed Volunteer Appreciation event support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Experience in recruitment, volunteer management, or community outreach is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with social media platforms and website content management systems. Ability to design and create marketing materials using software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Passion for children's issues, community service and volunteer engagement.
