We are seeking a design-focused Creative Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence and visual storytelling efforts of a dynamic arts and cultural organization. This hands-on role is centered around creating compelling visual content, managing social media platforms, and producing engaging promotional materials that inspire community involvement and drive attendance. This is not a traditional marketing position focused on SEO, paid advertising, or corporate analytics. Instead, we're looking for someone with a strong graphic design background who enjoys developing creative campaigns, capturing moments through photography, managing social media engagement, and bringing ideas to life across both digital and print platforms. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all programs, events, and initiatives. Design promotional materials including posters, invitations, brochures, advertisements, signage, and event collateral. Create graphics, videos, and other content for social media campaigns across multiple platforms. Manage day-to-day social media activity, including content planning, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement. Write compelling copy for social media posts, email campaigns, promotional materials, press releases, and other communications. Capture event photography and provide live social media coverage during programs and special events. Maintain photo archives and visual documentation for grant reporting and organizational records. Manage website updates and ensure brand consistency across digital channels. Coordinate email marketing campaigns and monitor engagement metrics such as open and click-through rates. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, board members, and community partners to promote programs and initiatives. Coordinate with printers, media outlets, and creative vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials. Qualifications:
3+ years of proven marketing experience is required. Strong graphic design skills are required, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Excellent copywriting, editing, and public relations skills. Experience managing websites, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
