In this Boston-based leadership role, you will set the direction for US HCP marketing across channels, shape market behavior in a dynamic competitive landscape, and translate insights into decisions that accelerate appropriate adoption. Accountabilities:
Brand Strategy Leadership:
Lead data- and insight-driven Annual Strategic Brand Plan(s) and ensure focused execution to drive demand and sustained growth.
Multi-Channel HCP Marketing:
Create and implement high-impact materials across promotional channels to influence appropriate diagnosis, treatment choices, and ongoing management in gMG.
Performance Measurement and Optimization:
Review and assess HCP-targeted marketing performance and the effectiveness of annual plans; rapidly test, learn, and optimize to improve return on investment.
Competitive Readiness:
Deliver proactive, scenario-based plans to win in a rapidly changing competitive environment and protect/extend differentiation.
Budget and Agency Management:
Own HCP tactical plans and budget allocation; direct and challenge external agencies to maximize impact and efficiency.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use analytics to identify key HCP promotional drivers and barriers, refine segmentation strategies, and sharpen competitive positioning to accelerate demand generation.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Build strong partnerships with Market Research, Market Access, Sales Training, Strategic Accounts, Medical, Global and R D to align strategy and provide commercial input into lifecycle management and long-range planning.
Omnichannel Platform Ownership:
Deliver integrated, multi-channel promotional platforms and define an optimized marketing mix that scales effectively.
People Leadership:
Lead a high-performing team of HCP marketers; set a clear vision, provide coaching and feedback, manage performance, and advance professional development.
Compliance and Governance:
Partner with legal, regulatory, and compliance team members to ensure compliant development, efficient review/approval, and flawless execution of initiatives.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field 15+ years related experience in the pharma or biotechnology industry Proven, consistent history of high performance and demonstrated success in marketing leadership positions Experience managing strategic and tactical marketing plans directly tied to an annual budget and in conjunction with external agency management Extensive launch experience Proven agility to learn diverse disease states and scientific platforms Prior experience leading teams Strong verbal & written communication skills The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. The annual base pay for this position ranges from US $231,988 & $347,983 Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
