Job Description

Vacation Rental Market Manager 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Falmouth, MA 02540 $52,653.59 - $63,410.78 a year - Full-time Beckon Homes 3 reviews $52,653.59 - $63,410.78 a year - Full-time About Us At Beckon Homes, we create unforgettable guest experiences. With 40+ high-end vacation rentals and over 10,000 guests welcomed from around the globe, we've built a reputation for hospitality-first property management — human-centered, detail-driven, and deeply committed to proactive property care. We're expanding our footprint on Cape Cod, and we're looking for an exceptional operator to lead the charge. About the Role We are seeking a full-time Market Manager to oversee operations across our Cape Cod region, spanning Barnstable to Plymouth. This is a boots-on-the-ground, high-ownership role — not a desk job. If you're energized by variety, thrive under pressure, and take pride in running a tight ship, read on. You will be the local point person for all things property management: daily operations, vendor relationships, property maintenance, guest and homeowner communications, and business development. Over time, you'll be expected to build and lead a local team as our Cape Cod portfolio grows. This role requires open summer availability. Given the seasonal demands of Cape Cod, PTO cannot be taken between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
You are:
A self-starting operator who's never too busy to notice the details — or too proud to handle them yourself. A natural relationship builder who earns trust with homeowners, guests, vendors, and teammates alike. As comfortable doing a property walk-through as you are troubleshooting a last-minute maintenance issue before a guest checks in. Physically capable and field-ready — this role involves heavy driving across the Cape, regular property visits, and hands-on work daily. Someone who sees this as a career, not a job — and wants to grow into a leadership role within a rapidly expanding company. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Own daily property operations across the Cape Cod market, ensuring every home meets Beckon's brand standards before each guest arrival. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate prompt resolutions to maintenance issues. Perform or delegate light handyman tasks (air filters, batteries, fixtures, etc.) — property maintenance and cleaning skills are a significant plus. Maintain thorough documentation of property conditions, repairs, and guest and homeowner interactions. Serve as on-call emergency contact on a rotating basis.
Note:
our 24/7/365 support team handles triage — you'll only be escalated to for genuine emergencies. Team & Vendor Development Build, manage, and continuously improve a high-quality vendor network (cleaners, handymen, HVAC, landscapers, and more). Recruit new vendors proactively to support portfolio growth. Oversee vendor performance, negotiate rates, schedule work, and hold vendors accountable to Beckon's standards. As the market grows, hire, onboard, and lead a local operations team — this is a player-coach role with a clear path to management. Client & Guest Relations Be the trusted local touchpoint for Beckon homeowners — responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Deliver hospitality-first service to guests, resolving escalations quickly and calmly. Communicate with urgency and care across calls, texts, and email. Sales & Growth Support new property onboarding through site visits and owner relationship-building. Represent Beckon within the local community to generate leads and build partnerships. Identify upselling and referral opportunities during guest and homeowner interactions. Requirements Must live within 20 miles of Falmouth, MA Experience in property management, hospitality, or home services (short-term rental experience a strong plus). Demonstrated experience managing vendors or contractors. Sales or customer relationship experience preferred. Property maintenance and/or cleaning experience highly valued. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required — heavy driving across the Cape is part of the job. Smartphone proficiency and willingness to use GPS tracking while on shift. Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and irregular hours; open summer availability is required. Willingness to undergo background check and drug test. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Extreme attention to detail (include the word "lighthouse" in your cover letter to show you read this). Able to lift 30+ lbs and climb stairs daily. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, hourly: 40 hrs/week On-call support for urgent escalations (rotating schedule — rare by design) 3 weeks PTO (not available between Memorial Day and Labor Day) Health benefits included Real opportunities for growth and team leadership within a rapidly expanding company
Pay:
$52,653.59 - $63,410.78 per year
Benefits:
Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance
Work Location:
In person
