Job Description

MARKETING MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY
This is an end-to-end marketing role. You'll own the day-to-day execution of all marketing channels while working closely with our external marketing strategist, who sets overall direction and goals. You're the person who makes the plan happen: building the brand, creating content, generating leads, and measuring what's working. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a small business environment, isn't afraid to get creative with limited resources, and wants real ownership — not a narrow lane.

What You'll Own Brand & Messaging Develop and maintain brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity Ensure consistency across all channels, collateral, and customer touchpoints Create and refine core messaging for different customer segments Website & SEO Manage and improve the company website (currently on Squarespace) Own on-page
SEO:
keyword research, metadata, content structure Develop a content/blog strategy to drive organic inbound traffic Social Media Create and publish content across LinkedIn and Meta with a goal of 1 post/day. Develop a content calendar aligned to campaigns, seasons, and customer stories. Coordinate with ownership and the shop floor team to capture photos and video assets. Email Marketing & CRM Manage CRM setup, hygiene, and segmentation Plan and send monthly email campaigns; build automated sequences over time Track open rates, click-throughs, and lead attribution Sales Enablement Develop case studies, capability one-pagers, and customer testimonials Build and maintain a library of sales assets for quoting and follow-up Partner with ownership on proposal support and customer-facing materials Lead Generation Support inbound lead gen through SEO, email, and social Identify and coordinate outbound opportunities: trade shows, partnerships, referrals Build and manage lead magnets and gated content where appropriate Paid Search Oversight Manage the relationship with our Google Ads agency: briefs, reviews, performance. Own budget monitoring and optimization recommendations Analytics & Reporting Set up and maintain marketing dashboards (website, email, paid, social) Report on key metrics monthly to ownership and the marketing strategist Use data to prioritize efforts and demonstrate ROI Customer Marketing Develop communications for existing customers: reactivation, upsell, loyalty. Build a referral program over time. What We're Looking For Required 3-6 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, manufacturing, or trades Proven ability to manage multiple channels simultaneously without dropping balls Strong writing and communication skills — you can make industrial content interesting Comfortable with CRM tools, email platforms, and website CMS (Squarespace or similar)
Data-literate:
you know how to read a dashboard and draw conclusions from it Self-starter who can operate with limited oversight day-to-day Nice to Have Experience in precision manufacturing, metalworking, or industrial services Hands-on experience with Google Ads or managing agency relationships Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) Video capture and basic editing experience
EDUCATION A
bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred , but not required. official.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the office and production floor as needed Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 15-20 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, equipment) Ability to use standard office equipment, including computer, phone, and camera/video tools Ability to visually review digital content and marketing materials for accuracy and quality Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via video

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
