About Us:
Our mission is "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." Founded over 50 years ago, the Boys & Girls Club of Metro North, rebranded from Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield, serves an average of 500 children every day across the communities of Stoneham, Wakefield, Melrose, Malden, and Saugus. We currently operate out of five sites and run three licensed afterschool programs, including the Stoneham Clubhouse, Wakefield Clubhouse, three teen centers, an outdoor pool, and a community boating program. BGCMN does this by offering a wide array of programming designed to support the academic, emotional, and social development of each child. We tailor our services to meet kids where they are, inspiring creativity through opportunities such as 3D printing, E-sports, multimedia art, and music creation.
