Job Summary :
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the marketing department to ensure the organization's vision and mission are reflected through publications, social media, creative content/graphics, and product development. This role is responsible for overseeing all marketing strategies in support of organizational objectives for increased growth and brand awareness. The Senior Marketing Manager will also ensure that marketing practices comply with legal and ethical standards, including data privacy regulations and advertising guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Hires and trains clerical and administrative staff Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of departmental staff Conducts or assists with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive Assists with progressive discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy Leads and manages the marketing team, including hiring, training, and setting performance goals
Primary Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the Marketing Department Create and implement marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives Execute discovery meetings with key stakeholders to confirm event/campaign goals and identify target demographics, data, and insights to be utilized Oversee the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to various marketing initiatives Develop and execute marketing campaigns, which may include digital marketing, advertising, content creation, and more Create all event logistics documents, including but not limited to Event Riders, Rundowns, Run of Shows, Technical Riders, etc. Develop and design new products and content offerings in the latest industry formats Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies Make recommendations for changes to operations, services, and functions based on market trend research Meet with key stakeholders to present event/campaign proposals, including visual direction, promotional strategy, and event plans, to obtain final approval prior to execution Ensure consistent brand messaging and maintain a strong brand identity across all marketing efforts Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, using data and analytics to make informed decisions and present metrics Collaborate with other departments and external partners, such as agencies or influencers, to achieve marketing goals Lead marketing efforts for product or service launches, including positioning, pricing, and promotion Develop strategies to engage and retain audiences through various channels, including email marketing and social media Identify opportunities for market expansion and develop plans to enter new markets or reach new target audiences Execute major event activations both domestically and internationally Regularly report marketing results to executive leadership and other stakeholders, while effectively communicating marketing strategies and plans Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
EDUCATION
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
EXPERIENCE
7+ years of experience as a marketing leader 7+ years of experience in project management or scheduling 7+ years of experience managing and supervising a team Knowledge of principles for managing and coordinating a variety of program/project functions efficiently
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and project management software Ability to multitask; self-directed, detail-oriented individual who accepts work assignments and ensures follow-through to completion Demonstrated success in prioritizing and completing multiple projects Strong focus on customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience developing, maintaining, and evaluating planning systems to facilitate the timely delivery of outcomes to internal and external stakeholders Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, teams, and supervisors in the execution of project requirements Must have the ability to meet a high volume of output and continual pressure of project deadlines Must be able to maintain confidentiality Must be flexible, creative, organized, and dependable
