Role Description:
The Global Marketing Associate Director, Lung Cancer will be part of the Lung Cancer Tumor Strategy and Commercialization team within the Global Datroway and Lung Cancer Franchise. AstraZeneca has an industry leading portfolio of in-market and pipeline products focused on transforming care and improving patient outcomes in lung cancer, and as part of the Global Lung Cancer Franchise Team, you will be integral to our collective efforts towards transforming care for lung cancer patients globally. The role will report into the VP, Global Franchise Head, Dato-DXd & Lung Cancer, and will support the development and execution of portfolio and above-asset tumor strategic marketing initiatives in support of our global lung cancer commercialization priorities. The role will focus primarily on initiatives targeted at: Health Care Providers (~75%) with a secondary focus on initiatives focused towards patients(~ 25%).
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives associated with the lung cancer Tumor Strategy Plan (TSP) Lead the development and execution of portfolio level initiatives in alignment with the lung cancer scientific narrative and in collaboration with global brand/indication teams Serve as the business owner/lead to shape key digital initiatives in support of TSP Lead the development and execution of patient support initiatives aligned with TSP Lead the delivery of key internal Lung cancer communications Collaborate with medical to support external KEE engagement programme Partner closely with brand and indication teams to ensure alignment of portfolio and above-asset initiatives with brand led initiatives Collaborate closely with and provide direction to cross-functional partners (e.g. Insights, Access, Medical, Sales, Training, Corporate Affairs) for the development and implementation of both strategic and operational plans Accountable for engaging with Regional/Country teams to ensure alignment and share learnings across markets Develop and deliver key brand presentations to leadership Manage agency relationships, workflow, and commercial budget
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in relevant field 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning Prior oncology in-line HCP marketing experience within a major market Experience building and integrating new capabilities that are relevant for launch success Preferred qualifications MBA in relevant field In-depth Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, managing ad agency, providing direction on annual budget planning) Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing) Prior global marketing experience Sales/Customer-facing experience Launch experience Management experience Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex constructs Ability to manage complex projects Demonstrated ability to work in matrixed environment and to work with Global team Strong business acumen skills Ability to lead without authority High capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically, and operating effectively in a rapidly evolving and competitive market-place High ethical standards and personal integrity The annual base pay for this position ranges from 193,898.40 - 290,847.60 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
