REPORTS TO
VP of Marketing
SCOPE OF POSITION
Responsible for leadership of all database and marketing analysis functions, yield management and strategic direction ,plus extensive knowledge of key player tracking systems. Responsible for database strategies for achieving revenue, income, EBIDA and market share goals. Also, plays a leadership role in the iGaming platform perform performance, especially the planning ,development, and evaluation of iGaming rewards, offers, operations, and promotions. Ties player evaluation of both on property gaming and iGaming. Produces detailed P&L for all marketing promotions and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices. Manages property use of database software suite. Maximizes usage and effectiveness in reporting, analysis and planning for both retail and online gaming initiatives. Implements strategies to maximize revenue and profit from database members. Responsible for the management, oversight, planning and delivery of all offers/rewards for marketing campaigns for our database, including through direct mail, email, and direct cellular communication. Drives promotional strategies for revenue and profit growth in the iGaming platform, including platform performance, third party vendors and reinvestment strategies. Provides monthly Proforma and Postforma analysis presentation of marketing promotions, including profitability, costs, and comparisons to previous/similar promotions. Designs, implements and maintains database using various software applications. Designs and runs queries to extract and compiles data for monthly reports, including analysis of promotions and events. Oversees the direction and growth of the Database team, ensuring appropriate levels of productivity, accuracy and successful outcomes. In addition, leads the iGaming team and the hotel Yield Manager. Is responsible for the yield management database strategy for the 443-room hotel offering, considering database response, generation of cash sales and impact of convention business, as we seek to maintain high occupancy levels year-round. Maintains current knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment and/or systems. Generates lists for direct mail based on targeted players for events and tournaments. Conducts Database testing to ensure appropriate patron targeting. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record as outlined in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy. Outstanding example of and a credit to FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include maintaining sufficient staffing levels; interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
An applicant's education, training and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the ability to successfully perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field. Ten years of Casino Marketing database experience which must also include Customer Relation Management and Digital Marketing oversight and seven years of experience in a management capacity. Detailed experience with IGT Player Software System and Aristocrat iGaming platform, plus AI-based analysis tools such as Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be at least 21 years of age.
GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business, Marketing or related field with six years in a senior level database management capacity in a casino environment similar to FireKeepers Casino Hotel. Advanced skills with Microsoft Access, third party tools such as Quick Custom Intelligence, Other Levels and Acoustic software. Successful completion of any of the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Training programs. WEEA Certified.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to read data and analyses. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal, and work with mathematics such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
