• Full-time About the Role The Real Estate Information System of Southwestern Michigan, Inc.

(REIS), the wholly owned MLS of the Southwestern Michigan Association of

REALTORS

(SWMAR), is seeking a dynamic Marketing and Education Director to lead communications, professional development programming, and member engagement initiatives. While this position is employed by REIS, the role supports and promotes SWMAR's brand, education programs, and MLS services that serve real estate professionals throughout Southwest Michigan. This in-office position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Key Responsibilities Marketing and Communications Manage email marketing, newsletters, website updates, and social media Create promotional materials, graphics, and event marketing campaigns Promote education programs, events, and MLS updates Maintain brand consistency and member engagement Education and Events Plan, schedule and coordinate continuing education courses and instructor relationships Support Professional Development Committee Oversee event planning, registration, and attendance tracking Plan and execute member events Member Engagement Coordinate Association events including membership meetings, special events, and networking functions Assist with sponsorship and revenue generating initiatives Strengthen member communication and engagement strategies Qualifications Experience in marketing, communications, education coordination, or event planning Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools such as Canva Strong writing and project management skills Experience with email marketing platforms and social media Ability to manage multiple projects in a professional office environment Real estate or association experience is a plus About SWMAR and REIS The Southwestern Michigan Association of
