Job Description
Job Description Dive Bomb Industries is looking for a highly capable Lifecycle Marketing Manager to help lead and execute our retention marketing efforts across email and SMS. This role will be responsible for building and optimizing campaigns, flows, segmentation strategies, loyalty initiatives, and customer nurture programs that drive repeat purchases and long-term customer value. This person must be both strategic and hands-on. We need someone who can think through the full customer journey, identify opportunities to improve retention, and then personally build, design, and execute those initiatives. The ideal candidate is fluent in Klaviyo , experienced in email and SMS marketing , confident in segmentation and RFM strategy , and proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for creative execution. A strong understanding of AI tools and the rapidly evolving AI landscape is also important, as we want someone who can recognize opportunities to harness AI in ways that improve efficiency, creativity, analysis, and overall marketing performance. This role will work directly under the direction of the Marketing Director and closely alongside the Marketing Production Manager to execute high-level lifecycle marketing strategy and improve the performance of our retention channels through thoughtful planning, strong creative instincts, and consistent testing and optimization. Responsibilities Build, manage, and optimize email and SMS campaigns Create and improve automated flows, including welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, and other lifecycle touchpoints Develop and execute segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, engagement, and purchase history Use RFM analysis and other retention methods to identify opportunities for stronger audience targeting and buyer nurture Manage and help grow the brand's loyalty program Develop campaigns and strategies focused on past-buyer nurture, repeat purchase behavior, and customer retention Build campaign assets and assist with creative execution using Photoshop and Lightroom Work directly under the Marketing Director and collaborate closely with the Marketing Production Manager to bring lifecycle initiatives to life Monitor performance across retention channels and provide recommendations for continual improvement Conduct ongoing A/B testing on messaging, creative, offers, timing, and segmentation Identify and explore ways AI can support stronger creative output, workflow efficiency, data interpretation, and marketing performance Help identify new retention opportunities and bring fresh ideas to improve customer lifetime value Qualifications Proven experience in email and SMS marketing Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo Experience building and optimizing automated flows and campaigns Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, and retention strategy Experience with RFM analysis and lifecycle marketing best practices Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Strong understanding of AI tools and a demonstrated ability to stay current with evolving technology and marketing applications Strong eye for marketing creative, messaging, and brand presentation Ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills E-commerce experience is strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience managing or contributing to a loyalty or rewards program Experience in Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms Familiarity with performance-driven creative and testing strategies Experience in outdoor, hunting, fishing, or lifestyle brands is a plus Why This Role Matters This role will help us build stronger customer relationships, improve retention performance, and create a more effective lifecycle marketing engine across email and SMS.
