Job Summary The Brand Manager - Wild Harvest, Omega One & Instant Ocean for North America (US & Canada) plays a critical supporting role in executing brand strategies and marketing initiatives that drive equity, profitability, and disciplined portfolio management across a diverse mix of maintain and harvest brands. This role supports the development and execution of annual brand plans, oversees day-to-day operations, and partners cross-functionally to deliver margin stability, operational excellence, and long-term sustainable value. --- Primary Duties & Responsibilities 1. Brand Planning & Execution
  • Support annual brand planning process including strategic priorities, business objectives, and KPIs for Wild Harvest, Omega One, and Instant Ocean under guidance of the Senior Director.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Work with Brand Activation to create DCX briefs for eComm assets that align with brand strategy, brand messaging and brand guidelines while driving sales. 2. Portfolio & Product Management
  • Assist in lifecycle management, including SKU rationalization and performance tracking to reduce complexity and protect margin.
  • Partner with R D, Packaging, and Supply Chain to deliver cost-optimized products on time and within budget.
  • Support pack architecture and pricing initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, tariff, etc. requirements through diligent cross-functional collaboration. 3. Consumer & Market Insights
  • Partner with Insights to translate data (e.g., Nielsen, Numerator) into actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor category, consumer, and competitive trends in Bird, Small Animal, and Aquatics consumables and durables.
  • Support consumer testing and research projects. 4. Project & Budget Management
  • Help manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional input to keep projects on track in collaboration with PMO.
  • Support budget tracking, vendor management, and reporting to ensure efficient use of resources. 5. Commercial Strategy & Retail Execution
  • Support implementation of pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure excellence in in-store and online retail execution, maintaining brand and message consistency across channels. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Develop retailer-specific materials and support sell-in for key initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints. 7. Financial & P&L Support
  • Contribute to achieving a healthy brand P&L across revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin metrics.
  • Analyze performance and recommend actions to maintain profitability across maintain and harvest brands. --- Education and Experience Profile
  • 4+ years of brand or product management experience (CPG or related industry preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex project timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator).
  • Solid financial and business acumen with an understanding of pricing, margin, and SKU management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools a plus.
  • A passion for pets and curiosity about mature-category brand stewardship.
