Ownership Team Position Summary Rockwell is seeking an energetic, creative, and highly organized Director of Events, Programming & Marketing to drive revenue, community engagement, and brand awareness across our growing portfolio of hospitality and entertainment venues. This individual will be responsible for booking and executing private events, developing year-round programming, coordinating marketing initiatives, and creating experiences that bring people together while driving sales. The ideal candidate is equal parts salesperson, event planner, marketer, and community builder. ResponsibilitiesPrivate Events & Sales Serve as the primary contact for all private event inquiries. Conduct venue tours and client meetings. Prepare proposals, contracts, and event timelines. Coordinate weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, networking events, and community gatherings. Manage event calendars across all venues. Work with operations teams to ensure flawless event execution. Achieve annual event booking and revenue goals. Programming & Community Engagement Develop and manage a year-round calendar of events. Coordinate live music, trivia, bingo, fitness classes, festivals, watch parties, tournaments, and family-friendly activities. Recruit entertainers, instructors, vendors, and community partners. Create signature events unique to each venue. Build relationships with local schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations. Track attendance, guest feedback, and event profitability. Marketing & Promotions Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase sales. Coordinate advertising, public relations, sponsorships, and promotional partnerships. Manage email marketing and customer communications. Maintain event calendars, promotional materials, and venue information. Work with outside vendors, photographers, designers, and media partners as needed. Promote private events, programming, seasonal offerings, and special releases. Track marketing performance and provide monthly reporting. Ensure brand consistency across all locations. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, sales, or a related field. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to build relationships and generate business within the community. Comfortable working nights and weekends when events require. Experience with event management, customer relationship management (CRM), or marketing software preferred. Passion for hospitality, entertainment, and community engagement. Success Metrics Private event revenue growth. Increased attendance at programmed events. Growth in private event bookings. Increased customer traffic across all locations. Community partnerships developed. Overall revenue contribution from events, programming, and marketing initiatives. Compensation Competitive base salary. Commission on private event sales. Performance bonuses tied to event revenue, attendance growth, and marketing objectives.
