1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Truist is seeking an experienced and execution-focused AEM Authoring Team Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality digital content experiences within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role leads a team of AEM Authors and is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of web and landing page experiences that support marketing and business priorities. This role sits within the Marketing Delivery organization and serves as a key bridge between strategy and execution—translating requirements into scalable content delivery practices while driving consistency, quality, and operational efficiency across the AEM authoring function. The ideal candidate brings deep AEM expertise, strong people leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage high-volume digital delivery in a structured, regulated environment and partner with teammates to build the future-state content delivery ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight Manage a team of AEM Authors responsible for digital content execution & delivery Support the assignment and prioritization of work across the team to ensure deadlines, SLAs, and business objectives are consistently met Ability to cover for teammates and hands-on guidance and support for complex or high-visibility content builds Establish and maintain authoring standards, best practices, and quality expectations Monitor team performance, workload balance, and delivery health across initiatives AEM Authoring & Content Execution Oversight Player-Coach approach that authors and publishes as well as oversees the creation, editing, and publishing of web pages and digital experiences in AEM for the team Ensure proper use of templates, components, content fragments, and metadata Validate adherence to UX, brand, SEO, and accessibility standards Support advanced page builds, personalization setups, and complex component configurations as needed Ensure accurate content rendering across devices, browsers, and environments Digital Content Delivery & Operations Partner with Digital Strategists, Channel Leads, Marketing Managers, and UX teams to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables Lead intake, estimation, and planning processes for AEM-driven initiatives Drive consistency in content delivery workflows, including approvals, publishing, and release management Identify opportunities to scale content production through reusable components and process improvements Support personalization, localization, and campaign-driven content execution Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Effectively work within cross-functional teams (Audience Builders, Creative, Legal, MarTech and Product Partners) Ensure content meets compliance and regulatory standards, particularly in financial services Facilitate communication across stakeholders to resolve blockers and align on delivery expectations Participate in agile ceremonies, roadmap discussions, and delivery reviews Maintain clear documentation of standards, processes, and delivery artifacts Experience modernizing digital content delivery through systems, automation and AI partnering closely with Business, Product and MarTech partners. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Establish and enforce QA standards across all content builds (links, rendering, accessibility, functionality) Implement structured QA processes and checkpoints across the team Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause resolution and process improvements Enable A/B testing and optimization by ensuring accurate implementation of variations Promote continuous improvement in tools, templates, and workflows Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to digital governance, accessibility (WCAG), and privacy policies Oversee compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for all published content Support audit readiness through documentation, approvals, and structured workflows Ensure proper handling of disclosures, customer-facing messaging, and regulated content Partner with Legal and Risk teams to maintain compliant authoring practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of experience in digital content authoring, web content management, or digital delivery 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team in a digital or marketing delivery environment Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites) Strong understanding of component-based authoring, templates, metadata, and publishing workflows and Content as a Service / Content Supply Management. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries (strongly preferred) Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, and UX principles Experience working in Agile or scaled delivery frameworks Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end concepts for troubleshooting Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (Analytics, Target, AEP, ODE) Experience supporting personalization, testing, and optimization initiatives Experience driving operational improvements and scaling content production capabilities Key Competencies Strong leadership and team development skills Execution-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complexity and remove obstacles Process-oriented with a focus on scalability, consistency, and continuous improvement General Description of Available Benefits for
