Job Description

Description:
This position is responsible for the Halifax County Farmers' Market facility and its operations. The market manager will play a key role in supporting the mission and goals of the Halifax County Farmers' Market. In addition to onsite management, the manager will coordinate market-related planning and promotional activities with vendors, customers, volunteers, and partners. The position will report to the Halifax County Cooperative Extension Director.
Requirements :
High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. Education in the fields of business management, administration, marketing, or similar field is desirable. Experience in management, produce industry, food industry, grant writing, and/or event management is desirable. Possession of a driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina is required.
