This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate our leagues, tournaments, events, and restaurant experience, while building a strong, engaged community both online and on-site. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Strategy Own and manage all social media platforms, including content planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing in collaboration with current marketing agency Capture and share real-time content from leagues, tournaments, and daily facility life Develop compelling visual and written storytelling that reflects the energy and culture of Capt'n Bill's Engage with the community through comments, messages, and user-generated content Seasonal Campaign Development Plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns tied to spring, summer, and fall volleyball leagues Lead promotional strategy for large-scale tournaments and special events, driving participation and attendance Create cohesive campaign messaging across social, email, web, and in-house promotions Event & Tournament Marketing Collaborate with operations to promote weekly leagues, clinics, and major tournaments Develop countdowns, registration pushes, and post-event recaps to maximize engagement and retention Ensure consistent branding and communication across all event touchpoints Sponsorship & Partnership Management Lead outreach to potential sponsors and brand partners aligned with Capt'n Bill's audience Coordinate sponsor deliverables including social media promotion, on-site visibility, and event integration Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional partners Collaborate on co-branded campaigns and activations that enhance the player and guest experience Brand Growth & Strategy Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for growth and engagement Identify opportunities to expand reach through partnerships, influencers, and community involvement Maintain brand consistency across all channels while evolving creative direction Qualifications 2-4+ years of experience in social media, marketing, or content creation (sports, hospitality, or events preferred) Strong visual eye and experience with photo / video content creation Excellent writing and communication skills with a distinct brand voice sensibility Experience managing campaigns, promotions, or events from concept to execution Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly social, and outdoor environment Passion for volleyball, beach culture, or community-driven experiences is a major plus What Makes This Role Unique Be at the center of a vibrant volleyball and social community Capture and shape the story of leagues, tournaments, and unforgettable moments Directly impact participation and growth through creative, strategic marketing Build meaningful partnerships with sponsors and local businesses Blend sports, hospitality, and lifestyle marketing into one dynamic role
