Align marketing initiatives with company growth objectives, sales goals, and market opportunities. Market Research & Industry Intelligence Produce quarterly market research reports to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends. Identify and define market opportunities and problems; generate, refine, and evaluate strategic actions; monitor performance; and continuously improve marketing effectiveness. Define key inbound and outbound marketing strategies based on research findings. Utilize industry publications, periodicals, trade resources, and whitepapers to assess industry trends, competitive activity, and market changes. B2B Marketing Strategy Development Develop and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs by treating high-value target accounts as distinct markets and creating highly personalized campaigns for key decision-makers. Establish thought leadership initiatives through data-backed content. Build lead generation and lead nurturing programs utilizing email campaigns, webinars, ROI calculators, educational content, and digital engagement strategies. Relationship Marketing & Customer Retention Customer Lifecycle Management Develop and execute customer retention strategies designed to increase customer lifetime value, repeat purchases, and long-term brand loyalty. Build and optimize customer lifecycle marketing programs across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation stages. Analyze customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for retention and growth. Loyalty Program Development & Management Design, launch, and manage customer loyalty and rewards programs for both direct customers and strategic channel partners. Develop incentive-based programs that encourage repeat purchases, increased order frequency, and larger average order values. Measure loyalty program effectiveness through participation, retention, redemption rates, and incremental revenue generated. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure loyalty initiatives align with customer needs and business objectives. Database Marketing & Personalization Leverage CRM data, database marketing, behavioral advertising, and customer analytics to deliver highly targeted and personalized marketing campaigns. Develop audience segmentation strategies based on customer type, industry, purchasing behavior, geography, and account potential. Utilize marketing automation tools to create personalized communications and nurture programs that strengthen customer relationships. Customer Insights & Voice of Customer Programs Establish processes to gather customer feedback through surveys, interviews, reviews, and account engagement. Analyze customer feedback and market intelligence to identify opportunities for product innovation, service improvements, and enhanced customer experiences. Partner with sales and customer success teams to ensure customer insights are incorporated into business and marketing strategies. Monitor website analytics and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, user experience, and customer engagement. Coordinate with development partners on website enhancements, new features, and issue resolution. Marketplace Expansion & Management Launch and manage Smartfruit's presence on Walmart Marketplace. Launch and manage Smartfruit's presence on Faire Marketplace. Support Amazon growth initiatives and coordinate marketplace activities with Cart.com. Manage Smartfruit's presence across Webstaurant and other online distribution partners. Review and approve listing content, product images, A+ content, storefront updates, and new product launches. Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Social Media, Content & Brand Communications Social Media Management Manage Smartfruit's social media strategy, content calendar, and platform presence. Schedule, publish, and monitor content performance across all social channels. Content Development Coordinate content creation with designers, photographers, influencers, and external creative partners. Ensure content aligns with brand standards, marketing objectives, and customer engagement goals. Distributor, Partner & Channel Marketing Distributor Marketing Strategy Develop and execute marketing programs that support distributor growth, customer acquisition, and product sell-through. Build collaborative annual marketing plans with key distributor partners to align promotional activities, product launches, and revenue objectives. Identify opportunities for co-branded campaigns, promotional programs, and joint marketing initiatives. Provide distributors with marketing assets, campaign materials, product information, and sales tools to improve market penetration and sales effectiveness. Channel Partner Development Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic relationships with marketplace partners, distributors, foodservice partners, and other channel organizations. Develop channel-specific marketing strategies that address the unique needs of each distribution partner and customer segment. Coordinate launch plans, promotional calendars, and marketing initiatives across channel partners to maximize visibility and sales performance. Marketplace Growth & Optimization Manage Smartfruit's presence across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Faire, Webstaurant, and other e-commerce distribution channels. Develop marketplace-specific growth strategies focused on traffic generation, conversion optimization, customer acquisition, and profitability. Review and approve product listings, digital assets, A+ content, storefront updates, and new product launches to ensure brand consistency and maximize performance. Monitor marketplace analytics, search visibility, conversion rates, advertising performance, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities. Trade Marketing & Sell-Through Programs Develop trade marketing initiatives designed to increase distributor engagement and accelerate product movement through the channel. Create promotional programs, sampling initiatives, merchandising support, and educational content that drive customer demand at the distributor level. Collaborate with sales teams to identify priority accounts, market opportunities, and channel-specific growth strategies. Channel Performance & Reporting Monitor distributor and marketplace performance using sales data, marketing metrics, and market share indicators. Develop regular reporting and business reviews to evaluate channel effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Recommend strategic investments and marketing initiatives based on channel performance, customer demand, and market opportunities. Sales Enablement & Business Development Support Sales Support Build, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive Smartfruit sales guide and sales training resources. Support sales enablement efforts through marketing materials, presentations, product resources, and digital assets. Expand the Mailer Box Project and assist in targeting larger account opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead quality, conversion, and account growth initiatives. Trade Show & Event Marketing Trade Show Strategy & Execution Manage all aspects of trade show planning, execution, and performance measurement. Pre-Show Planning & Promotion Evaluate event opportunities and manage event selection. Develop pre-show marketing campaigns and promotional strategies. Coordinate creation of event assets, booth materials, and supporting collateral. At-Show Engagement & Lead Capture Drive booth engagement, traffic generation, and brand storytelling. Manage lead capture processes and attendee engagement activities. Post-Show Follow-Up & ROI Analysis Coordinate lead routing and follow-up activities with sales teams. Develop recap content and event performance summaries. Track ROI, lead conversion, and overall event effectiveness. Marketing Technology & Operations CRM, Systems & Reporting Support Salesforce administration, reporting, optimization, and adoption. Assist with implementation and management of marketing and sales technology platforms. Project Management & Vendor Coordination Coordinate digital projects across internal teams and external vendors. Manage relationships with development, technology, and marketing partners to ensure timely project execution and performance.
