Job Description About the role:
The US Specimen Manager Marketing Manager will support the execution of marketing and product management initiatives for the U.S. Specimen Management assigned portfolio. This role focuses on driving disciplined execution of in-market priorities, enabling commercial success through strong cross-functional collaboration, and supporting growth initiatives across traditional clinical settings and emerging care environments, including home collection. Key Responsibilities Portfolio & Commercial Execution Support development and execution of annual marketing and go-to-market plans aligned to U.S. Specimen Management priorities Execute tactical marketing initiatives including value proposition deployment, sales enablement tools, campaigns, and launch readiness Support lifecycle management activities such as line extensions, in-market optimization, and sunset planning Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Global Marketing to ensure alignment and timely delivery Home & Alternative Collection Support marketing initiatives related to home collection and alternative care settings, including decentralized testing and consumer-adjacent use cases Adapt portfolio messaging, value propositions, and tools to address home collection scenarios while maintaining brand and compliance alignment Partner with Innovation, Global Marketing, and Commercial teams to support pilot programs and targeted market initiatives Contribute to understanding customer, patient, and channel needs within emerging care models Internal Insights & Voice of Customer Support collection and synthesis of internal and external insights including field feedback, customer interactions, and competitive intelligence Translate insights into actionable inputs to inform marketing plans, messaging refinement, and execution priorities Maintain structured understanding of customer needs and competitive dynamics Ensure insights are documented and shared across the team Performance Tracking & Analytics Track portfolio performance metrics including sales trends, forecast assumptions, and initiative impact Support post-launch reviews and ongoing performance assessments Enable data-driven execution through disciplined reporting and analysis
About You:
You combine your analytical rigor, with a customer-centric thinking to provide execution excellence.
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred At least 4 years of experience in marketing, product management, or commercial roles Strong analytical and tactical skills, including spreadsheet proficiency, collateral development, forecasting, and competitive analysis Demonstrated creativity in marketing tactics and problem-solving Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a high-growth environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills; active listener and effective team player Track record of continuous learning and adaptability Ability to travel up to 30% domestically Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Experience in Healthcare, Med Device, Diagnostics or Life Sciences At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
