Job Description

4 days onsite in Springfield New Jersey. Overview A bridal brand is seeking a Director of Social Media & Content to lead strategy and execution across the brand portfolio. This role blends high-level strategic leadership with hands-on content direction and storytelling. The position owns the full social ecosystem, including strategy, content execution, analytics, and community engagement. The role supports both B2B and B2C objectives through brand storytelling, engagement, and conversion. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and partners with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing/Paid Advertising, Events, PR, Sales, Digital Product and Engineering, and Creative. The role oversees a Social Media team of four. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic direction for social media and content across the brand portfolio. Build and scale an always-on content engine. Guide content creation and storytelling across platforms. Oversee performance analytics and apply insights to improve outcomes. Manage community engagement and maintain a culturally relevant brand presence. Partner cross-functionally to drive awareness, engagement, conversion, and business impact. Lead and develop a team while remaining hands-on in content capture, shooting, and editing when needed. Support content capture at photoshoots, trade events, fittings, appointments, and brand events. Balance messaging across B2C bride engagement, B2B retailer/trade marketing, and influencer partnerships. Qualifications Ability to build an always-on content engine. Strong channel expertise across the social landscape with strategic and tactical depth. Experience directing a team while also being hands-on in content production. Knowledge of social media and influencer marketing. Understanding of luxury positioning. Passion for bridal storytelling. Experience developing, managing, and growing teams. Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor direct reports. Open to a variety of backgrounds with the right mix of leadership and functional expertise.
